ACTS Week 2

New Hope Church began in 1999 when Pastor Chuck Farina felt called to start a new church in Abilene, Texas. The church initially met in homes before moving to various locations. After many challenges, Hobby Lobby purchased a building worth over two million dollars for the church in 2002, which they transformed into an 800-seat auditorium. They are a relatively young but diverse congregation, and they welcome everyone to come and experience God's miraculous power.

The Praying Church

This week Pastor Chuck focuses in on Acts 3-4. How different could our lives look if we became true people of prayer? How many lives could we see touched by God, healed, and made whole if we would spend time in daily personal and corporate prayer?

One of the greatest defining factors of the Early Church were that they were a Church that prayed without ceasing! They didn't just pray empty, lackluster prayers either. The book of Acts tells us that their prayers were bold, courageous, and life changing.

Through their willingness to gather corporately in prayer, they saw thousands added to their number daily. They saw salvations and healings that are hard to even fathom today. This is the power of the Unstoppable Church - their PRAYER.
